JUNGIAN PSYCHOLOGIST, Professor, GRAIL SCHOLAR · CREATOR OF THE BLUE ROSE PILGRIMAGES

Veronica is the creator of the Blue Rose Pilgrimages, which unite myth and legend with sacred site travel, visioning, and dreamwork. Her extensive post-graduate teaching in Jungian psychology, psychotherapy, alchemy, the Grail legends, synchronicity, paranormal studies, and the sacred soul spans both academic settings and, more recently, online formats.

And her current teaching and research interests focus on Jung’s later works and their intersection with emerging sciences such as quantum mechanics. She explores the new worldview and vision of reality that arises from subtle body phenomena, including UFOs, crop circles, and near-death experiences (NDEs). Veronica is also deeply interested in the shamanic and esoteric roots of Jung’s psychology.

Dr. Veronica Goodchild has published two books: Eros and Chaos: The Sacred Mysteries and Dark Shadows of Love (2001, 2008) and Songlines of the Soul: Pathways to a New Vision for a New Century.

Veronica Goodchild, Ph.D. has been fascinated by the mysteries of the Cosmos since childhood, which set her on a lifelong journey of inquiry into the deeper dimensions of existence. Her quest led her to study religion and philosophy and ultimately immerse herself in the transformative work of Carl Jung, particularly his alchemical psychology. Jung’s compassionate view of suffering as a hidden source of creativity and meaning resonated deeply with Veronica, inspiring her to explore the visionary and spiritual aspects of Jung’s profound psychological insights.

In addition to Jung, Veronica delved into mysticism and various shamanic traditions, weaving these spiritual practices into her work as a depth psychologist, therapist, teacher, pilgrimage leader, and author. Her studies, dreams, and personal curiosity have guided her on pilgrimages to sacred landscapes in places such as Palestine, Greece, Great Britain, France, Malta, Peru, and Egypt, where she has learned from ancient myths, temple sanctuaries, mystery schools, and healing traditions. These experiences, along with her solo walks along the Camino de Santiago, have greatly influenced her own pilgrimage offerings, shaped by the wisdom of these cultures.

Veronica's work also explores synchronicity and star nation visitations, viewing these phenomena as reflections of humanity’s intimate connection with the spirit of nature and the wider cosmos. She believes that true healing must expand beyond the individual, engaging with non-ordinary psychoid states that signal the emergence of a new, subtle dimension of consciousness. This awakening heralds a new kind of mysticism—an embodied spirituality—that aligns with the cosmic shift toward the Age of Aquarius, offering a more expansive and wisdom-based vision of reality.

Veronica is Professor Emerita at Pacifica Graduate Institute and an Affiliate Member of the Inter-regional Society of Jungian Analysts. She is the author of Songlines of the Soul: Pathways to a New Vision for a New Century and Eros and Chaos: The Sacred Mysteries and Dark Shadows of Love.

She currently resides in Southwest France, where she continues her exploration of the mysteries of soul and cosmos.
